When the triple screw pump is stored or shut down for a long time, it must be protected against corrosion. In this case, both inside and outside of the pump should be protected and sealed, and the effect of protection depends on the position of protection and the storage conditions of the pump.
Usually the pump does not need special protection. If additional requirements arise, special storage of pumps and spare parts can be carried out during the planned storage period as required by customers.
External protection is sprayed by paint or spray gun.

The protective agent is poured into the pump to achieve the purpose of protection. To this end, first of all, a flange cover is used to seal the suction port of the pump. When filling the pump with preservatives, it is ensured that the discharge port of the pump is higher than the suction flange. At the same time, the pump is driven slowly in the opposite direction of the pump rotation. The filling process must be continued until the protective agent reaches the sealing line of the outlet flange and there are no bubbles. Then close the outlet flange of the pump.
