Present Situation of Screw Pump Oil Production Technology
With the maturity and perfection of screw pump production technology in China, it has been widely used in many reservoir areas with complex geomorphology and environment. It has saved a lot of costs for many oil production enterprises, increased crude oil production, made outstanding contributions to energy saving and production increase. In many aspects, it has great advantages over traditional oil production technology and its application prospects. It's very broad. However, due to its development time and reservoir environment and other constraints, there are still many problems in the application of screw pump oil recovery technology. For example, when the technology is applied to high wax content wells, wax deposition in the pump will increase the outlet pressure of the pump, increase its load, even damage it, twist the sucker rod, and the screw and the material of the pump barrel of the screw pump are not allowed to be used in the well for a long time. Wax, which shortens the period of pump inspection, affects the normal work of oil wells. For example, the failure of driving anti-inversion device is prone to occur in the application process, which will cause the screw pump off-trip phenomenon in downhole operation. In the application process of this technology, there are still problems such as oil leakage of oil seal and pan-root box.
In addition, the tubing anchoring technology in screw pump production technology still needs to be improved. Otherwise, it is very easy to appear the phenomenon of tubing oblique buckling caused by large torsion in downhole operation of screw pump.
