4.Along with the rotation of screw,the medium moves toward the outlet along the axial line of the screw.
5.The medium is pumped out.This is the operating principle of screw pump.

HSN series three-screw pump is an axial conveying volume low-pressure rotor pump. It consists of a helical surface with a special shape curve. When the active screw rotates, the moving seal chamber sucks the liquid from the inlet and transports it continuously along the axis without pulsation to the outlet. The pump runs smoothly and has low noise.

Causes of screw wear:
1. The feeding barrel will reach the feeding section first. Dry friction will inevitably occur in the feeding section. When these plastics are not heated enough and melt unevenly, it is easy to cause wear and tear on the inner wall of the feeding barrel and the surface of the screw to increase. Similarly, in compression and homogenization stages, if the melting state of plastics is not uniform, the wear rate will also increase.
2. The speed should be adjusted properly. Because some plastics are reinforced with reinforcing agents, such as glass fibers, minerals or other fillers. These substances tend to have much greater friction on metals than molten plastics. In injection moulding of these plastics, if high-speed conversion is used, the shear force on the plastics will be increased, and the corresponding reinforcement will produce more torn fibers. The torn fibers contain sharp ends, which greatly increases the wear force. When inorganic minerals slide on metal surface at high speed, their scraping effect is not small. So the speed should not be too high.
