Head Ratio: The stator head number T1 of screw is one more than the rotor head number T2, that is, T1 = T2 + 1. Their ratio becomes the first ratio. Screw pump can be divided into single head (1:2) and multiple head (2:3:3:4) and so on. The more head-to-head ratio, the greater the output torque and the lower the speed of the screw pump. Conversely, the smaller the output torque, the higher the speed.

Single screw pump is a single screw transport pump. Its main working parts are the screw of eccentric helix (called rotor) and the screw bushing (called stator) whose inner surface is double helix. Its working principle is that when the motor drives the pump shaft to rotate, on the one hand, the screw rotates around its own axis, on the other hand, it rolls along the inner surface of the bushing, thus forming the sealing chamber of the pump. With the continuous rotation of the screw, the liquid in the sealing chamber pushes forward one pitch every rotation of the screw. The liquid screw is pressed from one sealing chamber to another, and finally the pump body is extruded. Screw pump is a new type of liquid conveying machine. It has the advantages of simple structure, safe and reliable operation, convenient use and maintenance, continuous and uniform discharge, stable pressure and so on.
Mechanical seals and packing seals can be used according to needs and conveying media, and the two structures have interchangeability.
