The starting points of single screw pump are as follows:
Single screw pump should start when suction stop valve is fully open to prevent overload or suction.
Although the single screw pump has the ability of dry absorption, it must prevent the dry rotation, so as not to scratch the screw surface.
If the pump needs to start at very low oil temperature or high viscosity, it should start when the suction and drain valves and bypass valves are fully open, so that the load of the pump is the lowest when starting, and then the bypass valve will be closed gradually when the prime mover reaches the rated speed.
When the bypass valve is opened, the liquid is circulating continuously in the pump with throttle. The more oil is circulated, the longer the cycle time is, the more serious the heat of the liquid will be, and even the pump will be damaged due to high temperature deformation. Attention must be paid to it.
Single screw is a new type of pump which works according to the principle of revolving meshing volume. The main working parts are eccentric screw (rotor) and fixed bushing (stator). Because of the special geometry of the two components, separate sealing chambers are formed, and the medium flows uniformly from the axial direction. The internal flow velocity is low, the volume remains unchanged, and the pressure is stable, so there is no eddy current and agitation. The flow rate is proportional to the rotational speed.
