Operating points of single screw pump:
The single screw pump must operate in a given direction to produce a certain suction and drainage.
When the pump is working, attention should be paid to check the pressure, temperature and mechanical seal. A small amount of leakage should be allowed to the shaft seal. If the leakage is not more than 20-30 seconds/drop, it is considered normal. If the pump produces noise while working, it is often caused by low oil temperature, high oil viscosity, oil entering into the air, misalignment of coupling or excessive wear and tear of the pump.
Structural characteristics of single screw pump:
The two universal joints connect the screw and the drive shaft to transfer the torque. The universal joints are covered by rubber sheath to ensure internal lubrication.
Different types of sealing can be replaced (such as mechanical seals, packing seals, etc.).
The elastic stator with special helical cavity of single screw pump engages with the rotor with large lead and large tooth height. A continuous sealing line is formed in the stator cavity to separate the suction cavity from the extrusion cavity. When the rotor rotates, the cavity moves continuously in the direction of discharge, so that the material is continuously sucked and discharged.
