Rod peeling off
The drop of rod string is also a common failure phenomenon of screw pump, which is characterized by low operating current, no fluid production at wellhead, and disconnection of positive and negative circulation bushing. The production can be restored by buckling or downloading the rod salvage tool. There are also two cases when the sucker rod falls off, one is buckle, the other is captive buckle. The reason for tripping is that the residual energy of torsional deformation of sucker rod string is released after shutdown, which causes the reversal of sucker rod string. It can be prevented by installing anti-inversion device on the ground and sucker rod string. There are three reasons for rod string seizure: one is that when heavy oil wells start up again after a long shutdown, the starting torque is very large, which damages the threads; the other is that the oil is very heavy, and the screw pump works under high torque for a long time, which damages the threads; the other is that the stator is degummed and the rotor is not moving.
